• tab The only image that has been playing over and over is my mother’s death. I just couldn’t get it out of my mind. This is actually the first time that I have visited my mom since her first funeral. My so called “father” never let me go to mother’s grave. I don’t know why. This is the first time I could.
tab The day was bright and sunny. Everyone was outside laughing and talking. Families going to parks with the kids. People walking their dogs. Old people drinking tea or playing old games. I just kept on walking. I wanted to buy some flowers for mother. I do remember her favorite color roses. Pink and Red.
tab Even though I knew her for four years, she would always buy pink and red roses. Mom was pretty obsessed with them. There would be vases filled with them in every room except the bathroom.
tab I arrived at the Flower Shop that was quite popular in my neighborhood. It was small but it seem big for me. Outside were three rows of flowers. Some were sunflowers, daisies, violets and many more. I entered the shop and my nose was filled with the scent of flowers. It felt like I was in a meadow. I searched for the perfect red and pink roses. Then I finally found two beautiful bouquets of roses. I grabbed them and when I started to turn around, I bumped into someone. The flowers fell out of my hand and landed next to me.
“Ow.” I heard. I looked down and the boy’s face was covered with bucket.
“Oh, I’m sorry!” I said and helped him up. He removed the bucket.
    I gasped.
“It’s ok. You didn’t get-Oh, hey Forgotten! What are you doing here?!” Light asked. I couldn’t answer him.
‘What the hell is he doing here?! I mean, no boy would work in a flower shop. Would they?!’
“Earth to Forgotten!! You there?” he knocked on my forehead. I shook my head and picked up the roses. I walked right past him but only to be pulled back by him.
“For, would you at least answer me.” Light asked annoyed and tilted his head.
“I’m…wait! Did you just call me For?” I asked surprised.
He nodded. “Yeah. What? No one calls you that?
“Whatever. I’m here for these flowers. There I answered your question.” I response and walked away fast. I made it to the register and bought the roses.
“Have a nice day!” the clerk said with a smile.
“You too.” I replied back and left the shop. Damn it! Why are my cheeks burning so much?! I stopped and stood in front of the bus stop. This irritated me. Light is just a boy! He’s like every other boy. All guys are stupid! But why do I have to blush just when I’m around him? I wanted to scream but I didn’t. The bus arrived and I got on. The cemetery wasn’t far. I sat down at the back and stared out the window. ‘Maybe I should just ignore this and him.’ I told myself.
tab Ten minutes later the bus stopped and I climbed off. It was pasted noon and still bright. The first thing I had to do is look for mother’s grave. Lake City Cemetery. I walked in and started my search.
tab Rows and rows of gravestones were marked with names. All the gravestones were shaped as angels, rectangles, Virgin Mary, little kids and crosses. The most colors were gray or white. I started to walk up a hill. Soon minutes turned to hours. The sun was leaving me and clouds followed me. Then a tomb stone got my attention. Shaped of angel with roses around it. A tree stood next to the stone. I walked over there and read the name.
“Marinette Lake.” I said. This was my mom’s grave. How do I know this. I kept a picture of mom and her name was written on the back.
“H-Hi mom…” I said to the stone. I kneeled down and placed the roses in front of it.
“I brought you these. They’re your favorite.” I choked twice. My eyes were filled with water and ran down my cheeks. I began to cry.
“W-why?! Why did you leave? Father is treating me like s**t every since you left!!” I choked out the words and covered my face with my hands. “I MISS YOU, MOM!!” I yelled. I just stayed there crying my eyes out. The wind started to pick up and my hair move with it. Then rumbling noises surrounded me but I didn’t look up. I kept my head down staring at mother’s grave.
tab Something wet touched the back of my neck. More water came pouring down from the sky and the rumbling got louder. The wind started to pick up fast. I didn’t move but shivered from the cold. My whole body was covered in rain.
tab This is the first time that I have every cried from misery. Father never cared about me and my mom left me. Then my feelings changed from misery to angry. This really wasn’t my fault that I was left here. It was my mom’s fault!!! She married him!! Didn’t she realize who he really was? The true form of that man!!! He was the devil!!!!
“I HATE YOU!!!” I screamed and the storm was about to reach its point. Then I felt someone’s hand on my shoulder and jumped up. I turned around but couldn’t see who it was….
