• Chad is walking down the halls of Gregson High School. He has been waiting all year to ask out Starlia, but has never had the courage. Then he heard over the announcement about the school dance next weekand. "I can't beleive the school dance is coming next weekand" Chad excitedly said to himself. Then Starlia walked by him. He was feeling so happy. He went outside at around noon for soccor practice, to find Starlia and him were the goalies for the game. He went over to Starlia, and started talking to her. "Hey..." Chad said. "Why am I such a wimp" Chad said in his mind. He contiued to speak. "So.....do you have a date to the prom...yet" Chad said nervously. "Actually no, do you" Starlia replies. "No" Chad says. After practice, Chad says to Starlia "Would....would you like to go to prom with me". Then there was a long silence. "I'll think about" Starlia replies. The next day Chad walks up to Starlia and asks again. "Ummmm...............Chad, i'm really sorry, but my parents said no...." Chad about to cry very sadly says "Well.............thats ok". Then Starlia walks away with a tear in her eye. Chad goes into the boys bathroom and lets out his tears in the sink of the bathroom. He walks out very sad. Then Cymphonique asks out Chad, and then Elisa and so on. And Chad continues to say no. The night of the prom comes, and Chad's friend Derek encoureges Chad enough to go to prom atleast. He walks to the front door at around dusk. Then Starlia walks in with Jay Coleson, the quarterback for the Leprachauns. Then when Chad walks in, and a small crystal falls from his face. When the slow dance happens, Jay is touching Starlia very innapropriatly. She slaps him and walks away. Then for about 10 minutes they are sitting next to eachother (Chad and Starlia). Then the slow dance happens and Chad looks at Starlia and asks her "May I have this final dance". "Starlia says "No....you may have the first". Chad and Starlia smile at eachother and dance at the breaking of dusk untill midnight and they passionatly kiss with everybody gone. "This was the best dance....ever" they whisper at the same time.
