• This was how it was for her, that the waves catch the stars, when she dances. I feel the movements of nature though the walls where she dances and I can't help but gasp at her beauty. I can't help but be envious of her natural skill for this. Me, a mere single soul in this huge crowd of struggling people, couldn't help but be mesmerized by her. I was jealous of her, because I knew I could never be her.
Just then her gaze shot to me and I felt something run through me, like a thousand horses galloping and splitting the wind as they race. The world around me swirled and stopped. I closed my eyes for only a moment.
Is that... is that a swan? What was it doing standing right in front of me, in the dance hall? I looked at it's long white neck and looked closer. Yes, that was indeed a swan. The room, it was white. All white. The fog swirling at my feet, this isn't the ballet room. Where am I?
I looked at the swan and then decided I might as well approach it. As soon as I moved towards it, it moved it head to stare at me with one deep, dark eye. I knew that stare. Slowly it moved away from me, into the abyss.
"Wait!" I reached for it and then suddenly I couldn't control what I was doing. My feet began to move in a motion one could only call ballet. My arms fluidly kept me going as my feet arched. Before I knew it, I was dancing around the swan. This motion of the dance, I felt that I didn't need to stop. It wasn't forced, but natural feeling. I swayed to whatever my body said and then, my knees bent and I was flying.
As I flew, the swan flew with me, but it didn't stay a swan for long. Now it was that girl. The girl I wanted to be. As she flew beside me through the white, are arms were relaxed and at her side, while her feet arched beautifully. She was so much more graceful that me...
We landed then, on something invisible to my eyes. For a moment of bliss we danced in rythm together. Then I stepped up to her and she looked up at me. I placed my foot in her cupped hands as she knelt and she smiled, "This is you."she whispered. She threw me above her and I kept going, never to see her again in this white mist.

Waking up, I felt sweat at my neck. Feeling the dampness, I sighed. Then, in flashes the dream came back to me. Tears leaked from my eyes at the realization that I could never be that person, that swan that moved the stars.
