Twenty-twelve was surprisingly a good year for the human race. Racism seemed to have faded away, the use of clean and renewable solar energy replaced the use of poisonous fossil fuels, a global peace treaty was signed…ending warfare for good. But twenty-twelve had a significant downside to it as well. The world was now experiencing over population on the wide scale. However there was a solution. Wasn't an easy solution but it was a solution regardless. NASA and the ESA came together to form joint operation distant star. The operation has three intended stages; Find a habitable, earth like planet, send explorers to that planet and then begin the eventual colonization of that planet. The first stage was rather easy! Only three months into operation distant star, NASA and the ESA had found planet that had been so desperately sought after for the longest time; Trilokji. Finding the right people to send to an unknown landscape was a quick task. However finding the right spacecraft to use was not an easy task. Countless hours went into the two year long construction of the "Path finder" before it was finally complete.

Somewhere in the orbit of Trilokji, 4000

A handsome young man with short black hair, slightly tanned skin, muscular for a boy of his age, sat in the captain's chair. He stood around 6'0 when he stood at full length. His hazel eyes boredly stared out at a planet that vaguely resembled Earth. A soft female voice came from behind him. "Hayden" The women said quietly into his ear. Hayden turned his head around to the girl and flashed a small smile to the beautiful girl. The girl had her scarlet red hair up in a bun, a few strand falling over her blue eyes. She sat down in the chair beside of him. "Beautiful isn't it?" She asked without taking her eyes off the planet. "The sooner we land this clunky hell hole the better." Hayden replied. "So when do you think McArthur will be up?" she asked. "I don't know…I imagine that more of the crew is up by now" He answered and turned around to the hiss of an opening hibernation chamber. "Speak of the devil himself." Hayden joked and got up out the seat. Dennis McArthur was a tall middle aged man of about forty-five with jet black hair, cold blue eyes, clean shaven and the captain of the Path finder. McArthur stepped into the command room and glared coldly at the two teenagers. He looked toward the girl…his eyes burned a hole into her. When he did finally speak it was in his usual cold, demanding voice. "Taylor" his voice boomed. "Yes captain?" answered. "Take Hayden and start to wake up the other crew members." He instructed sternly. "We will be making a landing very soon." He added on before taking his position in the captain's chair. Hayden and Taylor left the room quickly as to avoid any insults the McArthur might have thought of. "What do you think it'll be like?" Taylor asked and moved the strands of hair out of her eyes. Hayden shrugged slightly as they walked, waking up the others as they went along talking.

    Chapter two
    Trilokji, 4000
On the humid, moss covered forest floor of Trilokji lay the Path finder, in a hulking mass of burnt, gray steel in a wreath of smoke…the great Path Finder had crash landed on a alien planet, in a foreign environment. How long the Path Finder had been down, for now nobody could truly say. Trilokji had once been the home to a peaceful, generous society. But over time the civilization came to be dominated by big business and industry for what seemed like forever. Empires rose and fell like fragile little card houses. Violent wars and intense natural disasters would take their toll on the corrupted society, and eventually these events caused the civilization to collapse in upon its self. It was the greatest fall in history…but nobody was going to be able to tell the hellish story. After the great fall, the world was free to return to its natural state…a tropical super pagena. Over the centuries pollution faded from the air. Wild life began to flourish once more, evolving and adapting as time went on, but who isn’t to say that something else didn’t evolve to take up the mantle of civilization?
    Hayden POV
Hayden, who had been going in and out of consciousness, was jolted into a conscious state by a terrified, blood curdling scream coming from the command room. After unlatching himself from his seat, that was now on the ceiling and making his way through the maze of hallways and corridors, Hayden had reached the command room. On the other side of the door, the tearing of flesh and the crack of bones could be heard loudly followed by the clash of teeth striking each other…somebody was being devoured, and that somebody was the person who had made the horrified shout that Hayden heard earlier. Hayden picked up a twisted piece of broken metal and then examined it closely. The piece of metal was long, heavy, and blunt. Opening the door slowly and almost noiselessly, Hayden held back vomit as the morbid scene inside came into view. The room had been painted with a fresh coat of warm blood, multiple body parts and organs littered the once clean tiled floor. A reptilian animal resembling a Nile crocodile and a komodo dragon was perched on the body that looked as if it had been killed ten times over. That body had once belonged to Dennis McArthur. The reptilian creature stopped tearing away at a limb and gazed at Hayden. For a brief moment Hayden and the creature locked eyes with one another in complete silence. That silence was broken when the animal let out a long screech-like hiss and a bright orange frill flew up behind the creature’s head. The reptile then took on a seven foot tall bipedal form and began to sprint at Hayden with long strides.
Other than Hayden and the Anakromoda, something else was on the downed space-craft. The bipedal “person” cleared the caved in corridors at a swift pace, occasionally bumping into a fallen piece of debris as it went. In only a matter of minutes it reached a random destination.
    Taylor POV
Anastasia Taylor awoke, finding herself amongst twisted wreckage. The pain in her legs was burning intensely. Although her sight was badly obscured by thick blood, she can faintly make out a gray skinned being sitting at her feet, eyeing her closely and curiously behind blue colored eyes. Taylor felt the hand of the creature cover her mouth before a scream could be released. The other hand cleared most of the blood away from Taylor’s eyes. The creature that was with Taylor could now be seen in a much greater detail. The creature was very human-like, had black shoulder length hair, beads of perspiration slowly trickled down the gray skin. And upon closer inspection Taylor caught sight of a long, light, compressed three part spear tied to its waist. The survivors were no longer alone.
