• I woke up next to Komuro. I had Jameson bring over some stuff for me last night. He over packed for me, always so prepared. I sat up, the first day of winter vacation. "You okay, Mai?" Komuro asked, waking up. I nodded I lyed back down on his stomach. He looked embarresed, but I was too groggy to think much. "Everytime I see you in here. I keep remembering what happened." he murmured. I knew what he was talking a bout. He was pushed in while I was still in my under clothes. I blushed a bit. He laid his hand on my waist, his hand was a bit shakey, I could hear his heart beat as my ear laid on his chest. "Sorry, I'm not that used to this yet." he admitted. I lifted my head and made our lips even. "Than lets get you used to me." I said, and kissed him. My tongue went over two things I never noticed before, his fangs. Komuro's arms tightened around me. We kissed repeatedly, passionatly, gasping for air. Our chests were pressed together. I went down from his lips to his neck, as if drinking his prescence. He nibbled my neck playfully. His hand on the back of my neck. Someone knocked on the door. Komuro let go of his grip on me and groaned "What?" he yelled. "It's your mother." said a woman's voice. "Can you come back later?" he asked. I giggled, getting off him. "No! I need your dirty clothes, I'm doing the wash!" she said. Komuro blushed. I giggled. "Mom!" Komuro groaned. "You know I can kick down the door." his mother threatened. In the blink of an eye, Komuro was openeing the door for his mom. "Hello, Mai. Did you sleep well?" she asked. "Yes." I said, smiling thankfully. Komuro blushed "Downstairs, five minutes." she told Komuro. She turned to me "Mai, we're about to have breakfast, would you like to join us?" she asked. "S-sure!" I said. After she was finished, Komuro pushed her out saying "Okay, okay! Get out now!" he said. "You should be careful how you treat your mother. You never know when she might be taken away from you." I warned. He looked at me "Yeah, you're probably right." he sighed. "Hey, nevermind, okay? We should get dressed." I said, trying to comfort him as a bit of guilt came over his eyes. As he nodded, he began to blush. "Stop remembering that!" I nearly yelled. "I'm sorry! I can't help it, you were just so-! And with your godamn curves-! Why do you have to be so hot?!" he complained. He was on the floor on his knees. I wrapped my arms around his neck from behind, and pressed my chest against his back. "Idiot." I whispered in his ear. "I wish I had more confidence than this." he sighed. "I love that about you though." I said. He looked at me, "You are my wish, you make me feel happyish, I can't help but think, how much you make my heart sink. make it sink further and further in love." I could tell he was trying to be poetic. I giggled "Thanks for trying." I said. "Komuro!" his father yelled. Komuro groaned. He turned, and kissed me firmly on the lips. Someone swung open the door. "Kissy kissy!" Ichika teased. We blushed to our roots. "Mom and dad said to come down." Ichika said. "Alright! Alright!" he said. "I thought vampire's drink blood." I said when Ichika left. "We do, but we only need it once a day and we can still eat regular food." he said. "Hmmm. I didn't know that." I muttered. He stood up and held out a hand. "Why would you?" he asked. I took his hand and he helped me up. "So~ry." I said. "I didn't mean that as an insult." he said quickly. "I know." I said. His mom was a good cook. Seeing this family, laughing, joking, talking and being apart of it. Even though they were vampires, there's was nothing showing that. I missed that. I've never experienced this type of love in the air scince my parents died. Komuro asked me if I wanted to stay another night there a couple hours later. I nodded. We were in this dark, small living room with a couch, a t.v, and some paintings with a ficus near a window with curtains. All of a sudden, he started to turn pale. "Komuro?!" I said. He fell to his side, his family was suddenly standing in the room. "What's wrong, Komuro?" his mother asked, kneeling beside him. "Did you drink blood today?" his father asked, worried. Komuro shook his head, his breath shakey. "You idiot!" Riku said, but he had a worried look in his eyes. "Where are we going to find some blood now?!" Ichika said. I thought quickly "What about me?" I asked. His family stared at me, seriouse. "Mai, there are seriouse consequences for what you're suggesting. Do you understand this?" Onyx asked. "I don't care!" I said, but Komuro shook his head. I slapped him "Don't be an idiot! Just drink my blood!" I yelled. His cheek was turning red, the only color on his face now. I moved my hair away from my neck. Komuro looked at it hungrily. I could see him try to fight it, but he quickly opened his mouth, and sank his fangs into my neck. A warm liquid went down my shoulder. Although I knew it should have, and I could see his family waiting for me to scream, but it didn't hurt. It was so peaceful as I slowly left my body. I seemed to merge with Komuro, almost like two droplets of water coming together to become one. "What is this?" I thought. "I don't know. I've drunken from people before, but it's never been anything like this!" I heard Komuro's voice. "Well, where are we?" I asked. "I think we are in our minds." he said. "If that's true, how can we speak together?" I asked. "I don't know. I don't even know why you're not screaming right now." he said. "What do you mean?" I asked. "Well, when I bite people, and don't hipnotize them first, they're in unbelievable pain." Komuro said, I could feel the silent sadness and distress in his mental voice. "I wonder, why doesn't it hurt?" I asked myself. I felt Komuro, like a sort of embrace, like his arms around me "I'm glad it doesn't hurt." he whispered. It was such a silent bliss, being held in Komuro's arms, well, mental arms. Suddenly, I felt his lips leave my neck, not even his fangs. I was slowly aware of my body. "Mai? Mai?!" I was being shaken. It was Komuro. I could barely hear him. Everyone looked at me, worried. I blacked out.
