• "It's quiet." Daisuke whispered to me as we knelt down in the branches of the tree, waiting for Usui. His warm breath against my neck. It took everything I had not to turn around and kiss him like friggn crazy. "I know it's not the best thing to mention right now, but I really want to kiss you." he said. I blushed "Get your priorities straight! We gotta whatch for Usui." I said. "Liar. You were thinking about it too." he said. "Sh-shut up!" I hissed. He suddenly leaned foward, his hair lightly brushing my cheek "Look! I think that's him." he whispered. I looked down, a kid with blond hair and glasses was passing by. In the shadows, something moved. "Daisuke, get ready." I said. I pulled my hair back in a high ponytail and put on a fox mask. Daisuke slipped on a wolf mask, only neither actually had the muzzle sticking out. Suddenly, two black figures charged at Usui, who now noticed them and was cornered against the wall. I drew my swords and Daisuke armed himself with his hand guns. "Ready." I whispered. Daisuke nodded. I waited until they were in the right spot. "Now." I said, we jumped from the tree, each of us landing with our shoes newly imprinted in the back of each guys' head. Amazingly, they got up. I looked at Usui "Get out of here!" I yelled, trying to alter my voice. He quickly nodded and ran away. While I wasn't looking, one of the guys came at me with a knife. Daisuke got in the way, a huge gash going up his arm. Daisuke had already put a silencer on his gun, aimed it at the guy's chest, and shot him down. The other guy was coming, I lept over Daisuke, and stuck my swords straight through the guy. I hurried over to Daisuke who was holding his arm in pain. "Is your arm okay?" I asked. He nodded, teeth gritted "I'm fine. We need to hide the bodys." he said and started standing up. I knew it was pointless to argue, I wasn't strong enough to carry a person's body and when Daisuke put his mind to do something, he did it, nothing would be able to stand his way, it's one of the things I love about him. He put the bodys deep in the bushes. I dug the hole, which was very quickly when I used magic, and Dasuke dumped them in. I covered the hole in no time. We ran back to the dorm room, and took a long relieved breath. Daisuke was still bleeding. "Damn." I hissed. "Oh, thanks." he said. "Just...stay still." I told him, he nodded. I put my hand over it, and began to heal his arm. When I was done, he let out a long breath. "Thanks, damn that hurt like hell." he said, but smiled. I wrapped my arms around his neck "You were really hot with those guns." I said. He cupped my face in his hands "You were damn hot with those swords." he said, and we began making out. After a couple moments, Daisuke pulled back "No. I can't, if we go any further...." he said, looking away. "You're a virgin, aren't you." I said, matter-of-factly. He blushed "H-How did you-?" he studdered. I smirked and stood up "I'm right, aren't I." I said. He was blushing like crazy, but got a small nod in. "I didn't mean to make you feel like that, we don't have to, you know." I told him. Giving him my hand as he got up. "Wait.....you're not?" he asked. ".........I'm not a virgin." I finally said. He blushed like crazy, but there was also a bit of rage in there. Standing up on his own, he looked straight at me "Who?" he asked. "It was 700 years ago. He's dead now though." I said. Although I saw Daisuke feel guilty for it, I knew that made him feel a bit better. I turned around and settled down on my bed, Daisuke sat on the egde of his own bed. "How's your arm?" I asked. He looked at it "Much better, thanks to you." he said, smiling. I smiled back "Good." I said. "Can you do me a favor?" he asked. "What?" I asked. "Show me your eye again." he said. I was suprised by the request, but nodded and removed the pin and pushed my hair away from my eye. He walked across the room, and looked into my eye. "Who else have you shown your eye to?" he asked. "Mr. Tanaka." I said flatly. "No one else?" he asked. "No one. No one was brave enough to even geuss why I covered my eye." I said, only half joking. "How old is Tanaka?" he asked. "964,823,674 years old." I said. Daisuke's eyes went wide. "What is he?" he asked. "A time mage. They can change their age at will, wether it's to become older or younger. Unlike Dark mages who don't have a choice." I explained. "Holy s**t. It's so hard to tell a mage from a human." he said. "It is. Even I didn't know at first." I admitted. "How did you find out?" he asked. "When I caught him going from a 6 year old, to a 20 year old, to a 60 year old, and repeated the cycle." I said. "Why was he doing that?" he asked. "Time mages need to change age often or their real age will catch up with them and they'll turn to dust." I explained. "Well, that explains that." he said, putting my hair back over my eye and replacing the pin. I held his hand, keeping his fingures intertwined with mine. "Miyuki, is there really a way to make someone immortal?" Daisuke asked, looking up at me in his crouched position. I looked at him, reluctantly, I nodded. "How?" he asked. "It comes with a price you know, a price few people see as a gift." I said. "What?" he asked. I looked straight at him, making sure he took in the full impact of my words "You can become immortal, if you drink my blood, and swear to become a Dark mage for all eternity."
