• The wailing, whining wind howled viciously; the very sound of it made the trees shudder - although it was hard to see - for they were being pushed and shoved around like ragdolls in the wind. The wind tossed bins around, scattering litter everywhere and plucked leaves off their very branches and blew them away, losing them into the night. Windows shook and doors creaked open, only to slam shut again. It was a wind like no other; it seemed to have a mind of its own.
