• "Josephine, pay attention."

Josephine flicked her head to the front of the room, pulling her head out of her dreams and her gaze away from the window. "Sorry." The blonde muttered, running a dainty hand through her hair. As her teacher turned his back to the board, Josephine removed her hand and let her wavy hair drape over her shoulder. Looking down at her notebook, she picked up her blue mechanical pencil and resumed her sketch. She wasn't much of an artist, but whenever she had good dreams, or day dreams, the first thing she would do was sketch it. Right now in particular, it was a sketch of Peter Pan. Her all time favourite movie. The only reason it was her favourite movie was because it just expressed freedom. In her eyes at least. The adventures of the children and just the whole exploration aspect. Though, her favourite character had to be Peter. Even though most people said she looked like Wendy, she just couldn't relate to her at all. Josephine was free spirited and not as up kept as Wendy.

"Oh my gosh, have you seen him yet?"

    "Yeah! He's so hot."

Girls chirped down the hall as Josephine passed them, clutching her books closer to her side. Who were they talking about now? This school usually didn't get new students, being a school located in the middle of nowhere with a population of about eight hundred and fifty students in the grades kindergarten to senior combined.

The blonde huffed under her breath as she made her way to her locker. When she got to it, she placed her books on top of the metal frame of the lockers to do her combination on her lock. Just as her lock made a soft click, Josephine heard a low grumble. She turned to her left and saw a boy that she'd never seen before fidgeting with his lock.

He was absolutely stunning, from what Josephine could make out. He had black hair, but with more brown highlights than natural black. The length was cut shorter into what people would call a fohawk. Like a mohawk but shorter and more approved by the people. His jawline was thick and looked as if it were muscular. From the side view, his jaw jutted out, but not too far. It was a nice and round chin. From what Josephine could see, his eyes were a dark brown.

Josephine smiled at his trouble with his lock, not noticing that she had made a giggle that sounded like a squeal at the same time. The mysterious boy's head flicked up and he looked over at the blonde, who immediately blushed at this. Damn, she had been caught looking at him. Though, it gave her a better look at him. His cheekbones were as thick as his jaw, making him look very muscular. His eyebrows were as black as his hair and set at the perfect length above his eyes, though they were a bit bushy. She had been right, his eyes were a dark brown. He had a bit of a stubble starting to grow at his chin, though it was barely visible.

He smiled at her and stood up straight. Dimples. He had dimples. He stood about a foot higher than her, and Josephine was guessing his height was somewhere around six foot three. "Hey," Oh ********, he had a deep voice. "Can you help me with my lock, Giggles?"

Josephine rolled her eyes at the boy, hearing the new nickname she'd already gathered from him. "Yeah, what's your combination?" Her voice peaked, trying to speak over the girls giggling who were walking past the two several times just to fancy over the new boy. The thin girl pulled her long dirty blonde hair over her right shoulder and placed a hand on his lock, as if she were about to open it then and there, like she already knew the combination.

The boy fiddled around in his jean pockets until he pulled out a crumpled sheet of paper, then read it aloud to her. "It's 19-31-0."

Josephine fiddled with the lock, turning the spinner to the right until she hit the nineteen mark, to the left and past zero until she hit thirty-one, and then back to the right until zero. The lock clicked open.

The black haired boy smiled at the blonde as he swung open the locker. At least he knew how to do that. Just as the blonde girl was about to grab her things out of her locker and go, the mysterious boy interrupted her. "I'm Jordan by the way."

Grabbing her books out of her locker, Josephine turned to look at the boy, who's name was apparently Jordan. "I'm Josephine, but everyone calls me Wendy. Get it? Because I look like Wendy from Peter Pan." Josephine chuckled nervously as she kneeled down on the ground and stuffed her books into her bag. She didn't expect him to understand, but instead she got the exact opposite reaction than she was expected.

"You do." Jordan laughed as he dealt with all of his school supplies, such as trying to figure out where his next class was and what books he needed for it.Josephine gave a little heartfelt smile and then she walked away after closing her locker behind her. Jordan stood there in awe, just watching her go. Usually girls flocked over him and she wasn't.

Her next few classes went unnoticed by Jordan and she didn't have any classes with him in the morning, besides homeroom. As the bell for lunch rang, Josephine got up from her biology class seat, writing down the homework for the night, partially bent over the wooden table. As she scribbled the last part of her assignment, she flipped the agenda closed and stuffed it into her bag. Before leaving, she gave her teacher a small wave and he returned it with a perky smile.

    Unfinished.
