• Description: Concept/idea. Critique and comment. Ask any questions. You know the drill by now. Valkyria Chronicles 3 is my inspiration for this one. That story could've been even darker and more emotionally resonating than it was in my opinion, so I took a crack at it and came up with a similar, but unique version of my own. I think. I'll let you decide, but thanks for your input.

After years of peace, War has broken out. The Arian Republic, weakened by its recent reform, becomes prey to its ambitious neighbors. Michael Cross, once a sergeant of great promise, betrays the Republic and allows the enemy to deal a major blow. Saved from the noose by an old friend, the disgraced soldier is instead placed in the HANGMEN Squad; a unit full of death row criminals sent on the most dangerous and unsavory of missions, but Michael no longer cares. He only has a death wish now, but after meeting his new squad and captain he begins to wonder whether he can truly find redemption and hope after all. What fate awaits him in this war? Salvation? Or a bloody end upon the battlefield?
