    I still remember the way you held me securely
    in your arms as you sang my lullaby,
    the way you smilled that perfect smile that held the
    warmth of a thousand suns.
    I remember those things and take comfort in
    knowing you were capable of compassion.

    As I think of you, I sob my last sob, I shed my last tear,
    I draw my last breath, and hope to see you where the rain
    never falls...
