• I see the look from the face that smiles no more
She stabs my chest, and shoves me out the door
I lye here dying, sinking into arms that are cold and soar.

She rips my heart out of my chest,
and leaves me here to bleed to death.

    She was sorry,
but was too late to catch me.
    holding my limp body,
    she just let me be.

"let me die" I say to her,
"A world with you is one of cruelty and doom."
She cries on my face, and smiles a little,
and asks me "What's with the gloom?"

    I could only stare,
I still loved her and she knew.
She looked down at me and asked,
    "Can we not become new?"

    "We can be happy again,
    we can have a son!"
    I faced her,
eyes full of tears, for she had won.

She kisses me once more upon my head,
and looked back down, I was dead.
