Darkness

• Description: can you feel it? it hurts and i want it to stop. i hate this feeling. i want it to go away. i want it to leave.
  it is monday again. another week stared. another week of confusion and another week of pain. another week of sitting in class and wondering and hating and longing. another week.
  i can already tell how it is going to be.
  another week. i'm not sure im ready. but thats okay.
  (i wrote this a few weeks ago. things are a bit better now. or at least thats what i want to think)

Can you feel it?
This darkness that envelops my soul;
It clings to my skin, black and taut
Suffocating my neck and blinding my eyes
Crawling across my fingertips
Cold and restless
Hot and sluggish
Lukewarm, yet persistent
Piercing deep into my heart
Without spilling a drop of blood
Louder than a gunshot
It whispers silent warnings in my ear
With the swiftness of a leopard
It goes in for the kill
Sends me tumbling
Grasping for a hand
I fall from the cliff and let the wind
Carry me away into nothing...
