Madness,
engulfed by pure madness,
she stayed in the room.
Choosing to write of her misery and gloom.
One single heart break, chased her away.
Behind window and curtain she chose to stay.
Emily.
Emily.
Cut out her own heart.
Its internal beating tore her apart.
The blood, her ink
for all of her woes.
Love, death, and heartbreak her own largest foes.
Emily.
Emily.
Died all alone.
Leaving her life within her poems.
