• Time, in its cruelty, bars us,
    Jailing us from feeling.
A craving, free wind travels forth,
Brushing its feathery fingers across tear stained faces.
Why, oh why, can’t we be… be free from this misery?

The echoing sounds of galloping horses whispers,
Raking the memory from tortured souls.
In living death we plead, beg for release.
Yet on we live, living again, again, again.
Why, why, why… aren’t we free yet?

Shadows jump in the vast sorrow,
    Distracting the savior angels.
Summer comes again, shining sun along its side.
Beauty rising from distant horizons, yet we stay concealed.
Why, why oh why do we bare this pain?

    Love flows along our connection,
Unfolding our inner lights from their caverns.
And once again we wait in the stream of time,
Searching beyond foreign boundaries for familiar faces.
Why, in the vanity, do we keep on moving?

    And somewhere we found peace,
Within the sour melodies playing along the river.
Enticing the mind with notes of harmonious mystery,
We walk along through the rain, the tears of mother nature.
Why… why, is all I ask… why do we endure this?

I walk on forever, determined to find you.
Wishing gets nowhere, so in my hope, I search once again,
Believing through the fields of hell I tread upon.
Tremendous, our efforts, how it will play out, I know not.
Then the question rises again… why, oh why?

I will always be here, waiting for you to come home,
    Come home to me.
Our love shall prevail one way or another.
No amount of twilight or endless tears will stop us.
    And the answer has abounded.

We will find the joy however long it may take.
This demonic agony vanquished upon our rejoining.
Broken keys mended, dark clouds parting above our arms.
Here we come together again, home in each others presence.
Lies shattered by us… us, the unbreakable.
