• There wasn’t much light
    As was dark the night
    I ascended through the quiet
    Due to my particular diet
I had to satisfy my hunger
And I wasn’t getting any younger
    I made my movements swift
As I was handed a gift
I kept my eye on the prize
    It of a substantial size
As I moved up from down under
I knew I would not blunder
    For it did not suspect
    That my aim was perfect
Nor was it aware of my presence at all
    Else it would not stall
    For I widened my jaw
    Not intent to simply gnaw
My prize jumped in the air
    But I did not care
    I followed in suit
    To obtain my loot
    Several feet high
    It began to cry
    I heard it squeal
    That poor seal
    It stood no chance
    When I entered the dance
    I always hit my mark
    I, the Great White Shark
