I was just in a huge argument with Rayne about Tails and his purpose in sonic. Tails has always been my favorite character for as long as I can remember. He was like a kid hero and no matter what he always have sonic's back. him and sonic have an unbreakable bond and treat each other like brothers. He's cool, young, smart, adorable and a two tailed fox. What more could a Tails fan want. His first debut was great for all sonic fans. people liked the little two tailed fox that followed around sonic. although he couldn't keep up, it was still fun just to watch him in action. when Sonic 3 came out with knuckles, Tails character became more useful. he was able to help sonic around the stages by flying him to higher levels and across hard obsticals. he even had his own game for the gamegear in japan. it was even better when the dreamcast came to america. Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure 2 was just beautiful and Tails was great in both games. but there was a huge flaw in his character in the second game. Tails could no longer walk on his own or fly. he was in a machine through out the whole game. that was greatly disappointing. when they came back on the gamecube and made Sonic Heroes his character was once again disappointing along with a lot of others. once again he was no longer on his own and had to carry around Sonic and Knuckles through out the whole game. Tails may have had his bad sides but he makes it up in the Game Boy Advance games Sonic Advance, Sonic Advance 2 ,Sonic Advance 3, and Sonic Battle were all fun games. Tails was my favorite character to play with on all of them.... except for Sonic Advance 3. I liked him as a partner with knuckles but in the begining of the game I loved playing with him as the leader and sonic as the partner. Tails is Never useless and from the Tv show (Sonic X), The Movie, and the games, Tails has always proven to be my favorite character. Now Rayne has proven tails to be useless and refuses to think other wise. Anyone that reads this entry please put your input on what you all think of tails or why he doesn't match up to your favorite sonic character. I need more support for Tails because any Tails fan would know that he doesn't deserves to be downed by ignorant people like Rayne.
