The long forgotten lore of my life
When I feel like it I'll update with my thoughts, views, nonsensical ramblings or events. Just another look into my chaotic enough life. I never know what's going to happen.
With cake, doggie toys, presents and Anime galore
Sunday, January 20:

This morning proved to be amusing. Our little angel (who's turning a tad bit devilish by the day) known as Hannah, the rescued Jack Russel Terrier, is getting over a few strange eccentric mental trips of hers. Because of her condition for five years, basically living alone for nine or ten hours out of the day, she's developed some awfully strange idiosyncrasies. One of them involves her playing ball. Nothing to it. It's a normal squeaky ball, an annoying display of rainbow colors on the thing. She'll play for hours if your arm could fight through the numbing exhaustion from throwing.

Today mom was throwing the ball, letting the cute thing tear after it in her obsessed fervor. The ball is her precious thing, like some dragon's hoard of shimmering gold she can't seem to keep her ever ticking mind off of it. As it were, she was extremely hyper today to the point the game of throwing, as I groggily witnessed it at seven in the morning, lasted for around thirty minutes. Back and forth, the pitter-pattering of paws as she ran about, catching the balls.

That was, until the ball landed in the sink. Amused, mom and I watched, for ten minutes, as the obsessed canine danced around on her back legs, sniffing the air, whining for the ball. She wouldn't stop! Eventually, concerned for her mental well being, I retrieved the ball and threw it to her.

She was so happy to have it back that, I swear to you, she refused to let it out of the safety of her clamped jaws. She tried to eat her food with the thing wedged in her mouth. She dropped the ball in her food bowl and actually ate AROUND it in order to keep the ball in her sight. I sigh, sometimes, thinking about her. She's got a lot we have to work with.

So my sister and her family came down. It was my mom, dad, and her big Birthday Bash. Very awesome! I love when they come down. It's not often I see them. I mean, sure, they live about two hours away- that's not THAT far. But, still...

Barb set me up with a MYSPACE account. That's right, folks! Myspace!! As soon as I get the hang of this, I'll be giving my friends my account name. She also let me read to her a bit of my book, and she gave me advice on who to get published by. It seems I've come to a hindering wall in my progress of the story: the publishing company I'm considering only wants books with a max 0f 250 pages. Now, currently at chapter 22, I am OVER 200 pages and a lot more is to be written. Easily solved, however; I will have to break my book up into two pieces. Enough said, enough to do...

Barb loved her gifts. I got her a Beatles biography book, and she adored it. It's massive, a huge piece of work that'll take her quite a long time to read.

Since today was mom's apparent Birthday Bash, after everyone left and dad went to work, I let her watch the final five episodes of Trinity Blood. She's in love with the series, and I enjoy watching her reactions to the various events (especially during the last few episodes; she was freaking out so much, getting a tad depressed when a certain death happened and begging me to tell her how it ended before it did). It's pretty cool re-watching the entire series. I had finished it, on the computer in Japanese subs, in a rush. I believe I actually finished it up three days before my endoscopic procedure that, if you read my hospital journal entries, I was soon admitted (amazing I remembered as much as I did from the series; I was pretty sick, and my concentration wasn't all to keen those days). That was a while back, though.

Well, she likes Trinity Blood... now she has to finish the Death Note series (another one she's getting interested in). I just don't have the heart to tell her that her favorite character so far, L, dies.

Then again, I liked him to. Why does everyone I like end up dead?!

heart Peace out, ya'll! heart

EDIT:
It's official. To all those who wish to contact me on Myspace, send me a PM. I'll give you what my username goes under; I'll need help adjusting to the site, so any tips and such would be appreciated. I feel like some geezer, not truly understanding what the heck I'm doing! Anyway, like I said, if you have a Myspace account and wish to be friends on there with me, let me know! Send me a PM!

LOL! But you know me, I love words, let alone writing. Actually, it's not that bad. I was AFRAID of Myspace for the longest time! Oh, yeah! Broken Wings is the ending theme to the Anime. I love that song, but the opening, Dress, is TEN times better.
