So, yesterday my friend JJcatt found her way to the marketplace where I was getting ready for a day of buying and selling frenzy. She decided to try her hand at the retail business and set up her own little store not too far from mine. Once she got everything in order, we took a walk around to some of the other shops to see what was out there. It was nice to finally get the chance to visit. I haven't really seen her since she moved here to Gaia.

After a few hours, we decided we'd had enough of the consumer life. We said good-bye and went our separate ways. But she invited me to come by and visit her home any time. I did, later that evening, bearing a colorful piece of artwork for a house warming gift. I hope she liked it.

Anyway, before I went over to see JJcatt's new living quarters, I stopped by my house to change my clothes. When I got there, I saw that xjadestarx had been by and left a gift for me. What a sweetie! She had found the heart of gold I had been desiring and she bought it for me. "Because you have one" is the message she left with my gift. She's such a sweet friend. I wish I had been home when she stopped by. I was able to get ahold of her to thank her, though. It was so thoughtful and unexpected.

Speaking of unexpected gifts..... I got home this afternoon to find another gift waiting for me. So strange, as it was from some unknown benefactor named greendayob73. It was a beautiful shirt that I had been eying at the market. It was very strange. I sent a thank you note, but I have no idea who my new friend is or why they decided to be so generous. But I love the shirt. It's SPARKLY!!!

People are so nice here! I love this place.
