I decided that while I wait for my new furniture to arrive, I would do some deep-down-and-dirty house cleaning. So, I packed up all the furniture I had out and put it away while I scrubbed my house from top to bottom.

It was a messier job than I expected. I mean, I'm pretty tidy and Kaya and Pora are fairly clean animals, but still, I guess we drag in more dust and dirt than I realized. I guess having spent a lot of time participating in the Rejected Olympics didn't help, either. It seems that one of the dust bunnies followed me home one evening and I never noticed.

Over the past couple of weeks, it's grown into a fully grown dust rabbit. And now it's attacking! Achoo!!!

I was about to throw the monster out when I realized that strange things always happen in Gaia and that things rarely end up the way they started. I glanced over at the glass case I have holding the reptilian lotus flower and decided I should keep the dander mess around for a little while longer and see what comes of it.

Okay, sure, that's just an allergy magnet waiting to happen, but I have a cat already and allergies are just a occupational hazard of pet owning.

Ooh ooh, I shall call him. . . Dusty!
