Christmas, in reality,
to many, is a fallacy
The religion of the Holiday is gone
A time for earthly pleasures
and time for precious treasures
But of gifts of the heart, there is not one.
Perhaps again Christmas can be
more than just a sparkly tree.
But for now, the spirit of the Holiday is gone
