• Chapter five

    *Kevin's point of view*

Instead of sleeping in the hospital room, we stayed in a hotel across the street. I shared a room with Kevin and Leah shared a room with Kevin's mom. Instead of going inside our rooms we went downstairs to the vending machines. We told Kevin we just wanted a drink. It was 11:58 P.M

Seconds ticked by with no sound except the wind blowing outside. I was too distracted to realize there was no wind blowing a moment ago. One minute left till 12 was the only thing i was thinking. I could tell by looking at Leah, she was thinking the same thing.

Leah opened her mouth to say something when my watch (I borrowed it from Ken) beeped and i saw it was twelve. A lot of things happened at once just then.

The windows shattered into hundreds of pieces and a gush of wind blew in. Then steped a tall man with spikey white hair. Leah was going to shout for help when the white haired man covered her mouth with incredible speed.

I noticed he was even faster than the man in my dream. The white hair man then muttured something under his breath and everything turned black and white.....except us. "What's going on?" Leah asked frighten. "Why is everything black and white?"

"I'll explain everything later but you have to follow me." the white haired man answered. "Before he realize you've awaken." We were of course both hesitant to follow but i felt like i know this man and that he's not dangerous.

"If he sends out his demons again after he realizes you've awaken i assure you they're not just going to leave a cut on your father." he said facing me. I didn't realize that i was walking towards him until i felt someone tugging my shirt. "Don't worry, I won't hurt you guys!" he said impatiently when he saw me stop.

"Why should we trust you?" Leah said boldly. "Because Leah, I'm family." he said grinning. Shock showed upon my face as i registered what he just said. The strange thing was, I believed him. For two reasons: One, he knew Leah's name and two, when he grinned he looked like an older version of me except with white hair.

I could tell from the look on Leah, she guessed the same thing. "Now let's GO." he said almost shouting. "Yes sir." Leah and I said in unison. "Hold on to me." he said. Then there was a gush of wind and we were gone. Seconds later we landed on a bed.

I looked around and saw that the bed was very plain with two pillows and a white blanket. The only thing unique about it was that there was a funny symbol on the blanket.

I also saw that we were in a bedroom. Most likely it was the white hair man's room. The room was decorated with wallpapers. Each wallpaper had a different pictue. There was also a closet filled with clothes and a tv too. "Sorry about the tight room." he apoligized.

"But this is home for now."he added. "Um this room isn't tight, it's pretty big." Leah said nervously. The white haired man had a look of disbelief and then started laughing. "Well than i can't wait to show you your rooms back at our world." he said grinning.

"Once you see that you'll agree this room is small. Actually once you see the bathroom you'll agree this is a small room." he added. "What's your name?" I asked.

"Ren Aire Cielo at your servie." he replied. "Doesn't your middle name mean air or wind?" Leah asked. "Yeah but thats a long story. Our families like to give us hints so they take us to Baba." he answered grinning. "Hints?" I asked.

His grin vanished. "Oh yea, you probably don't know since you guys didn't just disappear from our house, you guys disappeared from our world." he said sadly.
