My mouth moved but she stared blankly back. She couldn't hear me and neither could I. I knew my mouth was moving and making noise but nothing was heard. I tried to touch my ear but my arm would not respond. Her face remained blank but a single tear escaped her eye. Then I noticed the wet puddle of tears I was standing in. I was crying and hysterically at that. She turned away. For some reason my body was going into convulsions. I finally understood why. She was leaving.

She was leaving.
