• When Caroline had finished the drawing of the unicorn she looked up to see the unicorn one last time. It had dissapeared and she felt a wave of dissapointment flow through her. She cheered herself up by looking at her drawing again,it was better then her usual drawings and she felt a sense of pride even if it couldn`t match what the unicorn actually looked like. She began to stand up when she felt a sharp point at her back. Caroline slowly turned her head to see if she could see what it was.

    It was the unicorn.

It`s long horn at the tip of her back. pointing dangerously towards her heart. she felt a slight burning in the spot where it was barely touching her clothes. She winced as she felt something enter her mind. She wasn‘t sure how she knew but she did.

Do not worry young one. I am making sure you mean no harm so relax. It said to her as she tried to follow its instructions. You don`t say no to a creature who everyone thought didn`t exist unless if it was the fae.

"So why are you here Caroline?" Asked a voice. Caroline turned around again, this time not just her head. What stood before her was a charming boy around her age. He had pure white hair that seemed to create a halo from the moonlight around him. His skin was slightly pale. His eyes were an entrancing blue, like staring into pools of bottomless water.

"I-I couldn`t stay at home anymore." Caroline replied, startled. She didn`t expect something so sudden to happen. Especially since only a moment ago was so calm. He looked at Caroline with carefull consideration.

"What where you doing just a moment ago then?"He asked her taking a glance at her notebook she held in her right hand. Caroline looked at her notebook then glanced back up slightly embarssed.

"Umm...Drawing..."Caroline responded looking at her feet. She felt a sudden tug at her notebook and she clutched it tightly with both hands bringing it back to her. To many times had her precious drawings been burned. She wasn`t going to let someone come and try to do that again to her when she ran away to get away from that torture.

He looked at her odly and then let go of the notebook."I believe I have a right to look at that since I was your modle." He replied with a grin."Besides,I`m not cruel enough to burn your drawing without a secound thought."

"Then, whats your name? I wouldn`t like to refer to you as unicorn boy unless if I must." Caroline replied still clutching her notebook.

"Tobias. Can I see what you have done now You must be aware I crave knowledge and for some reason I can`t figure out exactly what is in your notebook."He replied with a small grin. She breathed in deeply then handed him her notebook. She would murder him if he burned them, unicorn or not. He opened it and looked through it interestedly. Then,he stopped on one of the pages and starred at it for a long time."Caroline, could you tell me what this one is?"He asked her motioning for her to come and stand next to him. She walked over and looked at her notebook. It was the one with the orb.

The orb had a smooth surface and inside was an image. It showed a green meadow with a jagged rock in the middle of it holding the orb with vicious mountains in the background that where capped with a pale snow and grey clouds hanging over them in the sky. It was something she had seen in a dream and had lasted long enough in her memory to draw.

"It`s an orb that I had seen in a dream, why?"Caroline asked him curiously. Tobias was starring at it intently. "If you want it you can have it."She offered, the way he was starring at it was odd and looked like he wanted it. He shut the notebook and handed it back to her looking at her.

"Caroline,How about you travel with me? You wont be able to find the next town anyways, and besides, its not like your looking for anyone and being alone in this forest is dangerous. You should be glad you only met me." Tobias said to her. Caroline looked at him, bewildered. Then she composed herself and held out her hand.

"Lets get along well then shall we?" Caroline replied with a grin of her own as Tobias clasped her hand.

    And thus started their adventure.
