• "You have got to be ******** kidding me." he mumbled, letting go of me and sitting up. I shook my head again, not sure what to say.
"What do you see in him?!" he asked desperately.
"I-I don't know." I stammered, not daring to look at him.
"Bull ******** s**t! There has to be a reason! Especially after all that you put me through!" he shouted. A huge lump in my throat formed and I could tell tears were coming.
"Damien I-" He cut me off.
"No! I don't even want to hear it! He had a back-up plan and you want to tell me that you still like him?!" he said as a question, but I didn't answer it. Instead I thought about what he just said.
"You knew." I breathed, the lump suddenly seemed smaller. He looked at me, startled that I caught on to that.
"About what?" he asked between his teeth.
"About him dumping me for Trisha!"
"No. I didn't know it was Trisha exactly."
    "But you still knew!"
"So? You're the one who thinks she's still in love with a complete a*****e." he mumbled, looking to the floor. My anger raged.
"Oh no! You are NOT going to put the blame on me!" I shouted.
"It's not only my fault, you have just as much to do with it as I did!" he protested. I shook my head slowly.
"So. When did you find out?" I asked.
    "Find out what?"
"Don't bullshit me Damien. When the ******** did he tell you?"
"The day before the game, that's why I came over. I wanted to see if he was telling the truth. And what a ******** surprise, he wasn't."
"Why didn't you tell me?! All of this would've never happened if you had told me!" He looked at me, his face sad.
"You wouldn't believe me." he whispered.
"Go ahead, try me." I dared. He sighed.
"I didn't want to be the one who hurt you."
"You're right, I can't believe that. But I have another important question, Why would he dump me after he just asked me out?" I challenged. Damien shrugged.
"Told me he found a girl who could fit into a bigger bra." My mouth dropped about five inches.
"He was just-" I stopped mid-sentence.
"Playing you." Damien finished for me. I looked to the floor, my heart going from my stomach, to my feet. My whole world crumbled before me. Not only was I being played, but Damien knew
    "I can't believe it." I breathed.
    "Well-." Damien started.
"Not that, I can't believe my world just went from bad to worse in point three seconds." I said, cutting him off.
"It's not that bad." he tried to reassure me.
"Yes it is!" I shouted, tears forming again, the agony obvious in my voice.
"Maybe it is to you, but I think we can fix this." he answered, running his fingers through his hair.
"Fix?! What are you going to try to fix?! Cause I'm not broken, I'm just pissed." I said angrily.
"I meant, I think we could fix this situation." he said, looking at me.
"Well, I know I can. Get out." I said bitterly.
    "Celvia, please." he begged.
"No, get out, now." I growled.
"Don't think by making me leave you're fixing this problem. You're gonna need me soon." he mumbled, making his way to the door.
"My world doesn't revolve around you, Damien."
"But mine revolves around you. Why can't you see that?" he asked in a whisper right before he shut the door behind him and left. His words felt like a bullet to my heart, my words felt like a slash to the throat.
"Damn you Damien, damn you." I whispered.
"So. . . How'd it go?"y mom asked, making her way around the corner into the living room.
"I hate him." I replied. That made her stop dead in her tracks.
"What happened?!" she asked frantically rushing over to me.
"We got in a fight." I mumbled, replaying it all in my head.
"What was it about?" she asked..
    "Everything." I sighed, standing up.
"Well, maybe ya'll can fix it tomorrow." she suggested.
    "I guess." I replied quietly.
"Okay, uh, well, goodnight!" she called after me. I jogged to my room, swung my door open and slammed it behind me. I flopped down on my bed and stared at my phone on the night stand beside it. I snatched it up and began texting Ellie.
'hey, i HAVE to talk to yu' I sent her. In no time my phone vibrated.
'oh no, wat happened?' she replied.
'we got in a HUGE fight, like im positive the neighbors could hear us'
    'thats not good'
'well no duh!!! it definitely aint GOOD!'
'no need to get snotty w/ me young lady!'
    'who r u? my mom?'
'no, im ur bf that cares about stuff like this. crap i gotta go, but u have to spill 2morrow, kay?'
    'consider it spilled. nite.'
    'nite.'
I sighed and placed it back on my nightstand. I closed my eyes and tried to go to sleep. Surprisingly, I was out like a light in 1.3 seconds.
