It never rains here in Gaia. It's such a strange phenomenon. How do the trees stay so lovely and the flowers continue to bloom everywhere when there is no rain coming down to water them? Things really work differently here.

There are some days when it would be nice to have an excuse to stay inside and do rainy day activities in my house, like curl up with a good book or watch a marathon of silly tv shows. Not that I would be able to do those things right now. I have only the bare bones basics in my tiny little home. Perhaps I should start looking into furnishing it a little more creatively. And with things that match. So far, most my possessions are a mishmash of things that have been given to me. It would be nice to have a more uniform feel in my living space.

But back to the rainy day activities.... Today would have been a great day for such a thing. My mood was a little less cheery and a little more....emo, maybe? I don't know what emo's wear, so I went with the little goth outfit that I had in the back of my closet. I always enjoy trying to make my clothes match my mood. So, goth/emo-ish it is.

I took a little hike over to see if xjadestarx was at home, but she was no where to be found. I like her little house, though. So, I left her place and wandered around some of the nearby towns. But even picking flowers and catching bugs did nothing to improve my mood. And I just didn't have the energy to fight the fish today, so I decided to settle in with some nice jigsaw puzzles.

I spent a long time playing them. The conversations around me were....interesting, to say the least. But I ignored them and concentrated on putting the pieces of something else together. It was nice. I played until I started to feel a bit better. And as a bonus, I acquired a new shirt and lots of gold. So, I guess today wasn't a total waste.

If only it would rain once in awhile, though....
