Yesterday I finished up my house. Well, as best I can for now. I think it looks really cute. I managed to get everything I needed in there: a kitchen, a living room, a bed room and a place to eat. I was also able to set up my dartboard, which I was very excited about. I love playing darts!

I was afraid the house would be too cramped with all that furniture in it, even after I made the expansion to my house. But while it's no mansion in roominess, I managed to make it nice and cozy without feeling squished and cluttered.

JJcatt came by to check it out when I finished it. She seemed to like it. Then we took a little walk around my neighborhood and chatted a bit. It's fun to have someone to take walks with sometimes.

This morning, I decided it was time to introduce myself to some of my neighbors. But when I went to the surrounding houses, I realized that most people haven't fully moved in yet. There were only two houses that looked occupied and that was only with the necessities. Guess I'll have to wait a little longer to make friends with everyone living around me.

I also decided to do something different and kind of scary. I entered my cute little home in the housing arena for judging. Hopefully people will enjoy what I did, make nice comments, and not judge me too harshly. I went and picked up the application, paid the entry fee and was told that my house would be listed for voting in next weeks polls. So, hopefully I can get my friends to go over there and vote for me. I don't know what the reward for doing something like this is. I just thought I'd give it a try and see what happens.

It's been a long couple of days. I tell you remodeling is exhausting. I think maybe it's time for a nap or something.....
