I've been thinking about updating my look a bit lately. Not that I needed to get a new wardrobe or anything. Thankfully, I've spent money on great clothes and shoes and accessories that will accomplish pretty much any look I'm going for. No, it's not my clothes that I had become dissatisfied with; it's my hair. I've had the same style pretty much since the day I arrived in Gaia and, while was simple and easy to care for, I felt there had to be something more....ME out there.

I've spent a lot of time looking through the different cuts available at the Salon in town. They can do some pretty amazing things with hair these days. And I've kept a lookout when interacting with other people to see if I could find a hair style I liked. I even toyed with the idea of going really wild and coloring it. But nothing seemed quite right.

Until this afternoon. I got a notice that the Salon had come up with some new cuts and styles, so I headed back into town to see what they had available. And I found the perfect look. Wavy, a little messy, the right shade of blond. It was me as I'd been dreaming of.

I was so excited about my new hair style that I had to show it off around town for awhile. Then I went home and ran through my closet, trying on several of my favorite outfits and creating a few new ones. Even my clothes look all shiny and new with my pretty new hair. I feel so lovely now.

Epic hasn't seen it yet. I hope he likes it. I know boys are sometimes hesitant about changes in hairstyles, but he seems to enjoy my constantly changing attire, so he should appreciate the newness of my hair. JJcatt liked it (I have to say, I love her cute purple hair and I was tempted to do a style like hers, but I'm just not sure I could pull it off as well as she does).

Two of my friends have labeled me a princess. Guess I'm just accepting their labels and trying to play the part right. I love how a change of hair can really brighten one's outlook on life. 4laugh
