Having Kaya has changed things dramatically for me here in Gaia. She's very sweet and likes to be with me, so I'm less lonely than I used to be. And I looking for pasttimes now that I can do with my kitty shadow, so I'm trying some new things.

I bought a new book the other day. It's really a very cool book. And Kaya really enjoys having me read it to her. So, today I decided to spend some time in the garden (since the weather was nice) reading to my kitty. I've been doing that a lot lately....reading to the cat, I mean. The book is quite engaging and enchanting. It seems to draw us in like no book I've ever read before has. But since I'm spending so much time reading, I felt it was time to pick up some reading glasses. I've never been comfortable with glasses, other than my one pair of sunglasses, so I'm a little self-conscience about it. That's why I spent the day in the garden where no one would find me.

I wonder if I'll ever get used to the librarian look...?
