So, I wrote this story and I'm thinking about entering it into a literarly competition. This isn't the same one I wrote about before so back off!

Millions of years ago, when the universes were just newborn; there were two opposing forces that were named Light and Dark. These two people lived in a place called the Zero-verse, where things like magic and humans were only a thought but not yet a real thing.
Light and Dark were the two rulers of the Zero-verse. Light was a kindly woman with white hair, golden eyes, and a smile that would melt even the coldest of hearts. Dark, on the other hand, was a man with raven black hair, silver eyes and a glare that would make the people of the Zero-verse think twice about what they were about to say.
In the Zero-verse, whatever Dark said went and whatever Light said was considered by her butchy husband. But, all in all, she loved him with all her young heart.
That was, until she found out about his secret life.
While going through the files on local universes, she found several disturbing documents that proved that he was and had been cheating on her on a weekly, if not daily, basis. Her heart was instantly shattered at the news of his new mistress. But she decided to put up with it until he realized she wasn’t right for him; meaning his mistress, or his wife.
Time passed. Days turned into weeks then months, and finally, a year had come and gone. She started getting restless. Her heart started aching and she started falling into a deep depression that non one, no matter how close to her, could pull her out of.
Dark was the only one who didn’t notice her dark spiral. He was busy with either his mistress of working on a new universe to notice such a rapid plunge.
Light had somewhat made up her mind on how to pay back Dark for his unforgivable deed. So, one night while he was off in the Zero-verse examining things as he usually did, she took a vile of crimson red liquid, poured it into her nightly cup or wine, and drank every last drop of it. Her death was quick and painless.
The maid was the first to fight her highness dead; her lifeless body wrapped in a silk gown almost like she had just gone to bed. But she knew, oh how she wished she hadn’t known that the young maiden was dead.
News about the death had spread rapidly through the kingdom of the Zero-verse. The king took no time with his mistress and fell beside the peaceful body of his wife. He wept for days on end until he finally noticed a letter she had shortly written before she died.
“My husband,” it read. “I have so taken my life to teach you a lesson or loyalty and shame, for your mistress will soon fall victim to your wondering eyes as I have so long ago fallen to them. However, we both know that if one shall die in the Zero-verse, they shall be reborn in one of the younger universes. It may be one day or one million years before I am reborn, but let it be written in stone, I hope you have learned better but, until then, hold out for me.”
At the end of the letter there was a small heart and her signature. Dark made up his mind on what he was going to do; he was going to wait for her second life. But time passed slowly as he waited. Soon, he began hating her for taking herself away from him. His heat grew and grew until he became completely engulfed.
His dark energy was his end. After forty years of waiting he finally died of a broken heart and an angered soul. However, before he died, he promised one thing; he would find Light, even if it took him forever, and make her feel the pain she had bestowed on him.
