Went To Six Flags
And screamed like a sissy. XD

Went to Six Flags in Atlanta Georgia today. Will got a season pass so I could get in for nearly free. we got there at 10am and of course it was Tuesday, so we rode every major rollercoaster ride except Deja Vu and Ninja WITHOUT A WAIT TIME. Like. AT ALL.

There were small lines of maybe 10 minutes for some of the more popular rides(like Galiath) and the only real line we ran into was when it had turned about noon and we decided to ride the Batman. I think that was a 30-60 minute wait, but I wasn't really keeping track. Anyway, we didn't go on the Ninja because Will said it hurt too much. And we didn't go on Deja Vu for the same reason. It had just opened in the morning, and by that time I was interested in going on it, but he changed his mind so we didn't. And by the time we passed it on our way out it had a 1 - 2 hour wait so I was like.. Not worth it.

For those not in the know, Deja Vu is the world's hardest roller coaster to ride, because it's down for technical problems a friggin' LOT.
Other than that, there's nothing really special about it. I mean it has a few loops, and some big hills. The only really special thing(and why it is so frequently down) is because you go through the whole thing once, and then you go through the whole thing again... Backwards.

We also rode the log flume thing and Thunder River, because.. Well. Will wanted to do the log flume and I said I wanted to do Thunder River and we each didn't want to do the other so we agreed to just do both. Then we rode the monster plantation because Will wanted to see the animatronics. Oh, we rode acrophobia too.

Anyways, while riding Superman, I heard this big "klunk" in the middle of the ride and was like "Was that your change?" and he was like "Nope" then I heard this jingling of keys... ANd I was wondering what was going on...

Well. The big klunk was Will's cellphone deciding it could fly. And the clinging of keys were the keys trying to follow the cellphone, but couldn't quite make it because Will caught them in time. Of course, he was so busy with the keys that he completely didn't notice the cellphone klunk.

So now we can only talk through AIM and person for the time being. That's alright, I guess. I never memorized his number anyway. XD

So, yeah. The word of the day was apprehensive. I haven't ridden rollercoasters since I was... Well. I never really rode a rollercoaster that wasn't a kiddie ride. And the last time I went to Six Flags I was ten. And afraid of going upside down. When I got there today, I had my doubts about having fun. I thought I'd piss myself before a few of the rides, actually. And I closed my eyes for most of Superman because I couldn't take the floor rushing up at me the whole time(but the ride itself was great).

Will convinced me to go on rides I was scared of, and gotta say. It's great, and totally not as bad as you think it will be (Except for that first rollercoaster that goes upside down- that one will always be a little surprising).

Anyway, by about the 4th roller coaster, I was ready to do them all again. But it's totally, TOTALLY not worth waiting more than 20 minutes for a 30 second ride of any kind. So I guess we'll have to go mid-week in the morning next time we go. God that season pass is gonna be so awesome.

Also, for anybody who wants to start doing upside-down roller coasters but is afraid of falling out or something- things that twist around, are always good. Save the huge loops for last. Like. The Cyclone? That was awesome. The Mind Bender? Not so much. Especially if you get easily sick. So like. If you want to start trying to go upside down. Start with a ocorkscrew and work up to a loop. wink

Footnote: Do not leave sodas in the car in the sun in an open parkinglot in 100+ farenheit degree weather. THEY EXPLODE.
Will and I got ot the car. He left a 12 pack in there. The trunk floor was wet, all these cans' tabs were open, the box had split open, there were sprays of sprite on the windows and some in the passenger seat... XD
About 5 cans survived, 4 of which where bulging at the side. SO we decided to throw them.. I throw mine, not even that hard and it just goes "PLUSH" like a water baloon EVERYWHERE. Will threw his kind of weird and got a roman candle effect. One lone can of Sprite survived to look almost-normal. It was so fun(throwing the bulgy sprites) that WIll said it might be worth another 12-pack to just leave them on the porch for about a week so we can throw them and watch 'em 'splode some more. XD One of the cans I threw literally blew apart. The can ripped on the side and it was just.. SPLOO. Soda explosions. Awesome...
... But totally not cool to have in the car on a hot day. I wonder hwat would've happened if we were IN the car when they had gone kaboom >_>
